Born and raised in Los Angeles (but please don't hold that against him), Josh Sackheim studied journalism at Emerson College and worked through school as a radio news stringer for NPR and CNN Radio.

Since returning home to L.A. Josh has worked in television for over a decade. He cut his teeth as a Writer’s Assistant on the Sony Pictures Television series POWERS, the USA Network series FALLING WATER, and as a Creative Assistant to writer/director Peter Landesman (Concussion, Mark Felt). 

As a writer Josh has contributed creatively to projects for ITV Studios, Hideaway Entertainment, Quibi, and more.

More than anything, Josh strongly believes in the magic of good TV to offer a healthy reprieve from the drains of everyday life. To that end, he strives to write fun escapist dramas that offer a welcomed break from the stress of the real world… if only for 30-60 pages.
